Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings Urges NHIA Youth To Prioritise Growth And Leadership Development
The Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle and a Governing Board Member of the National Health Insurance Authority, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has urged young staff of the Authority to deliberately invest in personal development and prepare for future leadership responsibilities.
She made the remarks at the closing session of an NHIA youth mentorship programme held on Thursday, where she encouraged participants to focus on building meaningful professional relationships and a lasting legacy of impact within the institution.
According to her, success in both professional and personal life is strongly influenced by the quality of networks individuals build, stressing the importance of collaboration and mutual support among colleagues.
“Build good relationships and networks. Collaborate and support one another, because success often depends on strong professional relationships,” she said.
Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings also advised young staff to be financially disciplined and avoid the pressure of comparing their lifestyles with others, noting that such habits can negatively affect long-term growth and stability.
The Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority, Victor Asare Bampoe, commended participants for their commitment and encouraged them to apply the lessons acquired in their daily work at the Authority.
He noted that the mentorship programme forms part of NHIA’s broader strategy to strengthen institutional capacity and prepare young professionals for higher responsibilities within the health insurance system.
