Majority Caucus Holds Retreat To Strengthen Legislative Agenda


Members of Parliament from the Majority Caucus have held a retreat aimed at strengthening their legislative agenda and enhancing Parliament's contribution to national development.

The retreat brought together Majority leadership and Members of Parliament to engage in discussions on strategies for improving the performance of the caucus and delivering on the mandate entrusted to them by the Ghanaian people.

MPs led by the National Chairman of NDC and Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and General Secretary Fifi Kwetey used the session to reflect on the work of the caucus, assess its priorities, and develop strategies to improve legislative efficiency and oversight.

The retreat also focused on reinforcing unity within the caucus and reaffirming members' commitment to providing effective leadership in Parliament.

According to the Mahama Ayariga, the engagement provided an important platform for Majority MPs to align their efforts toward advancing legislation and policies that promote Ghana's development.

The caucus reiterated its commitment to working in the national interest by supporting initiatives that foster economic growth, improve governance, and enhance the welfare of Ghanaians.

Members also pledged to continue collaborating to ensure Parliament effectively discharges its constitutional responsibilities while responding to the needs and aspirations of the public.
