GRA, KOICA Marks Completion Of Tax Administration Modernisation Master Plan Project
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), has marked the completion of a project aimed at establishing a master plan for the modernisation of tax administration in Ghana.
The project completion ceremony, held at the Kempinski Hotel, brought together the Commissioner-General of the GRA, Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, Deputy Minister for Finance Thomas Nyarko Ampem, and officials from KOICA.
The initiative forms part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s tax systems through innovation, digital transformation and international cooperation.
The development of the master plan is expected to provide a strategic framework for improving tax administration, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the delivery of better services to taxpayers.
Speaking at the event, Mr Anthony Sarpong highlighted the importance of partnerships such as the one between Ghana and South Korea in advancing reforms that promote transparency, efficiency and sustainable revenue mobilisation.
He added that the completion of the project marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s efforts to modernise its tax administration system and build a more effective and technology-driven revenue management framework.
