NPP Bono Regional Communications Officer Hopeful Receives Endorsement From Minority Caucus
Abubakari Yakubu, an aspiring Bono Regional Communications Officer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed appreciation to the Minority Caucus following an endorsement of his candidature by Hon. Jerry Ahmed, Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe and Second Deputy Minority Whip.
Hon. Jerry Ahmed endorsed Abubakari Yakubu, popularly known as Baba Amando, for the Bono Regional Communications Officer position, describing him as a capable candidate to lead the party’s communication efforts in the region.
Reacting to the endorsement, Yakubu thanked the Minority Caucus member for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work hard to justify the support.
He said the backing serves as encouragement as he continues his campaign to serve the NPP’s communication wing in the Bono Region.
Yakubu is among aspirants seeking to occupy key positions in the party’s regional executive structure as the NPP prepares for its internal elections.
