Ghana Medical Trust Fund Calls For Support For Prostate Cancer Patients
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) has appealed for public support to help ease the financial and emotional burden faced by prostate cancer patients and their families.
The Fund said prostate cancer does not only affect individuals diagnosed with the disease but also places significant pressure on their families and caregivers.
In a statement, the GMTF said it remains committed to providing support, care, dignity and relief to patients navigating the challenges associated with prostate cancer.
The Fund, however, acknowledged that its efforts require broader support from individuals, organisations and other stakeholders to reach more patients in need.
It appealed for donations, partnerships and other forms of assistance to help reduce the burden on affected families and ensure that patients receive the support they need.
According to the GMTF, every contribution and act of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of prostate cancer patients and their families.
The Fund urged the public to support its efforts to ensure that no patient feels forgotten, unsupported or alone in their fight against the disease.
The appeal forms part of the GMTF’s broader commitment to supporting vulnerable patients and contributing to improved healthcare outcomes in Ghana.
