Mustapha Abdul-Hamid Takes NPP First Vice Chairman Campaign To Bono Region
Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, an aspiring First Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has taken his campaign to the Bono Region as he continues his nationwide engagements ahead of the party’s internal elections.
Following his engagements in the Ahafo Region, Dr Abdul-Hamid moved into the Bono Region, where he met with regional and constituency executives to outline his vision for the position and seek their views on the future direction of the party.
The former Minister of Information said the engagements were not only an opportunity to present his ideas but also to listen to party executives and understand their concerns, expectations and priorities.
According to him, the consultations have strengthened his conviction that the NPP’s efforts to reclaim power in the 2028 general elections must be anchored on consultation, unity and fresh ideas.
“Every engagement strengthens my conviction that our path to 2028 must be built on consultation, unity and fresh ideas that will deliver,” Dr Abdul-Hamid said.
He expressed appreciation to executives and supporters in the Bono Region for the reception accorded him, describing the growing support for his campaign as encouraging.
Dr Abdul-Hamid is among party figures seeking to play key leadership roles within the NPP as the party begins preparations to reorganise and position itself ahead of the 2028 elections.
His campaign is expected to continue with engagements across other regions and constituencies as he seeks to build support for his bid to become the party’s National First Vice Chairman.
