Henry Nana Boakye Begins Campaign For NPP First Vice Chairman Position
Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organiser has officially begun his campaign to seek the mandate of delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to serve as the party’s National First Vice Chairman.
Mr. Boakye commenced his campaign in the Ashanti Region, which he described as the “heartbeat” of the NPP and the region where he was raised.
As part of his engagements, he met with executives from 12 constituencies across the region to present his vision and listen to their concerns about the future of the party.
According to Mr. Boakye, the engagements revealed a strong desire among party officials to reorganise and strengthen the NPP ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He also interacted with members of the Ashanti Regional Communications team, including television and radio callers as well as social media team members who actively communicate and defend the party’s positions.
Expressing gratitude for the reception he received, Mr. Boakye said the support from the Ashanti Region had strengthened his resolve to pursue the First Vice Chairman position.
He said the campaign would focus on reorganising and re-energising the party while building a stronger structure capable of securing electoral victories.
“The journey to reorganize, to re-energize, and to lead the NPP to more victories begins now. And it begins at home,” he said.
