President Mahama Heads To Upper East Region For Resetting Ghana Tour
President John Dramani Mahama is set to visit the Upper East Region tomorrow and Friday as part of the latest leg of his Resetting Ghana Tour.
The two-day visit is expected to provide the President with an opportunity to engage residents, traditional leaders, local authorities and other stakeholders on development priorities and challenges confronting the region.
The Resetting Ghana Tour forms part of President Mahama’s nationwide engagement programme aimed at interacting directly with communities and assessing the implementation of government’s development agenda.
During the Upper East leg of the tour, the President is expected to highlight ongoing government initiatives while listening to concerns and proposals from residents and stakeholders.
The visit will also provide a platform for discussions on the region’s infrastructure, economic development, social services and other priority areas.
President Mahama’s engagement with the Upper East Region comes as the government continues its efforts to deepen interaction with communities across the country and gather feedback on its programmes and policies.
The two-day tour is expected to attract participation from residents, government officials, political party representatives, traditional authorities and other stakeholders across the region.
