Mahama Summons Tema MCE, TDC MD Over Dispute
President John Dramani Mahama has summoned the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Tema, Ebi Bright, and the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Limited, Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, for a meeting over a growing dispute between the two state institutions.
The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the two sides to present their positions and seek a resolution to the disagreement, which has raised concerns about coordination between the Tema Metropolitan Assembly and TDC Ghana Limited.
President Mahama’s intervention is aimed at addressing the dispute and ensuring that the two institutions work together in the interest of development and the people of Tema.
The development comes amid growing tensions between the Assembly and TDC over issues relating to their respective mandates and activities within the Tema metropolis.
The President is expected to use the meeting to encourage dialogue, clarify institutional responsibilities and promote cooperation between the two entities.
