Okai Mintah Engages TOR Management Ahead Of NDC Youth Organizer Contest

Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has visited the Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Edmond Kombat, and his Deputy, Alhaji Mustapha Abubakar.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, formed part of Mr Mintah’s engagements with young leaders and appointees within the NDC government.

According to Mr Mintah, the meeting provided an opportunity for an insightful discussion on the growing impact of young leaders in the current administration and the need for them to do more to contribute to the government’s reset agenda.

He also used the occasion to formally communicate his intention to contest the position of National Youth Organizer when the NDC opens nominations for the party’s internal elections.

Mr Mintah further stressed the importance of sustained collaboration and unity among young government appointees, particularly as the party works towards securing victory in the 2028 general elections.

He described the engagement as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among young leaders and encourage greater cooperation in advancing the interests of the NDC and the country.
