Gov't Explores Unisky String Technology For Sustainable Transport
The Ministry of Transport has engaged a delegation from uScovery DMCC of the Unitsky Group of Companies on the potential application of the Unisky String Technology as part of efforts to explore innovative and sustainable transport solutions for Ghana.
The delegation, led by the Chief Executive Officer of uScovery DMCC, Mr Oleg Zaretskiy, paid a courtesy call on the Ministry to present the technology developed by Unisky String Technologies Inc.
During the engagement, Mr Zaretskiy briefed officials of the Ministry on the concept and potential applications of the Unisky String Technology, which is designed to provide environmentally friendly, high-speed and cost-efficient transportation.
He outlined the technology’s potential to contribute to modern transport systems while addressing growing concerns about sustainability and efficient mobility.
Receiving the delegation, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, welcomed the initiative and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to engage with the company.
She assured the delegation that the Ministry would provide the necessary information and support to facilitate a proper feasibility assessment of the proposed technology and guide any potential areas of further collaboration.
The engagement forms part of government’s efforts to explore innovative technologies capable of improving Ghana’s transport infrastructure and services.
It also reflects the government’s broader commitment to modernising the country’s transportation system while promoting environmentally sustainable technologies that can support national development.
