CLOSSAG Head Mr Bampo Addo Dies At 59
The Head of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOSSAG), Mr Bampo Addo, popularly known as Marico, has died at the age of 59.
Mr Addo passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, according to an announcement by his family and associates.
His death has been met with grief from colleagues and others who knew him, with tributes describing him as a dedicated leader, mentor, brother and friend.
Mr Addo was remembered for his leadership, integrity and commitment to public service.
As Head of CLOSSAG, he was said to have led with diligence, compassion and a strong commitment to excellence.
Colleagues also described him as a loyal and inspiring figure whose contribution to the Association and those around him left a lasting impression.
