World Shea Expo 2026 Set For Tamale In September
The Presidential Initiative on Agriculture and Agribusiness is set to organise the World Shea Expo 2026 in Tamale from September 15 to 17, 2026.
The three-day event, to be held at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, will bring together key stakeholders across Ghana’s shea industry under the theme, “From Local Commodity to Global Brand!”
The expo is expected to provide a platform for industry leaders, investors, exporters, women shea pickers, youth, processors, aggregators and farmers to connect and explore opportunities within the shea value chain.
According to the organisers, the event will feature networking sessions, exhibitions, innovation showcases, investment opportunities and capacity-building activities aimed at strengthening the industry.
The expo is also expected to facilitate discussions on ways to transform Ghana’s shea sector from a largely commodity-based industry into a globally competitive value-added enterprise.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase products, establish business connections, learn about developments within the sector and explore investment opportunities across the shea value chain.
The organisers have invited stakeholders in the industry and members of the public interested in agriculture and agribusiness to participate in the event and contribute to discussions on the future of Ghana’s shea industry.
The World Shea Expo 2026 forms part of efforts to promote the development of Ghana’s shea sector and create greater economic opportunities for farmers, processors, women collectors, young people and other actors within the value chain.
