E/R: Over 200 Farmers In Akuapem North Receive Farming Inputs
More than 200 farmers in the Lower Hill areas of the Akuapem North Constituency in the Eastern Region have received farming inputs and equipment to support their work and improve agricultural productivity.
The items, which included fertilizers, rain boots and other farming materials, were presented to the beneficiaries by the Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku.
The initiative is aimed at supporting farmers with essential inputs to enhance their productivity and contribute to the growth of agriculture in the constituency.
Mr. Awuku said supporting farmers remained a priority, stressing the important role agriculture plays in the development of local communities and the national economy.
“We are investing in our farmers because when agriculture grows, our communities grow,” he said.
The MP also expressed appreciation to farmers for their continued contribution to food production and for providing locally grown farm produce to communities across the country.
The beneficiaries are expected to use the inputs to improve their farming activities and boost yields in the coming seasons.
