Duriyu Abdulai Declares Bid For NDC Deputy Northern Regional Women’s Organizer

Duriyu Abdulai has officially declared her intention to contest the position of Deputy Northern Regional Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a statement announcing her decision, Miss Duriyu said her ambition was driven by her years of dedicated service to the party, particularly her two terms as Deputy Northern Regional Youth Organizer.

She said her previous role enabled her to work closely with women at the constituency, branch and tertiary levels, while building strong relationships with party stakeholders, elders and structures across the region.

According to her, the experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities confronting the NDC’s women’s wing and prepared her for the new responsibility.

“I believe that strong leadership is built on experience, not experimentation,” Miss Duriyu said, citing her track record in youth and student mobilisation, grassroots organisation and fostering collaboration within the party.

She pledged that, if elected, she would focus on empowering women at all levels of the NDC, strengthening their participation in decision-making and ensuring that party policies reflected the needs and aspirations of Ghanaian women.

She also promised to work to expand the party’s reach, support the effective implementation of the NDC’s manifesto and contribute to building what she described as a brighter future for all.

Miss Duriyu urged party members and supporters to join her to campaign under the broader vision of “Building The Ghana We Want.”

She ended her declaration by expressing her commitment to the NDC and Ghana, saying: “Long live the great NDC, long live Mother Ghana.”
