Emmanuel Quarshie Declares Bid For NDC Bono East Regional Communications Officer
Prominent broadcaster and National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist, Emmanuel Quarshie, popularly known as “Hitman,” has announced his intention to contest the position of Regional Communication Officer of the party in the Bono East Region.
Mr Quarshie made his intention known through a campaign flyer released this week, in which he described himself as a hopeful for the upcoming NDC regional executive elections.
According to sources close to his campaign, Mr Quarshie is seeking to leverage his experience in grassroots mobilisation and party communications across constituencies including Techiman, Kintampo, Atebubu and Nkoranza.
In his announcement, Mr Quarshie said his decision to contest was motivated by a desire to strengthen the party’s communications structures and improve the projection of the NDC’s message across the region.
“I am stepping forward to offer purposeful communications that will strengthen our party structures and project the NDC’s message to every corner of Bono East,” he stated.
The Regional Communication Officer is responsible for coordinating the party’s communications activities, projecting its policies and positions, engaging the media and serving as a key spokesperson for the regional executive.
Mr Quarshie’s declaration adds to the growing number of NDC members expressing interest in various positions ahead of the party’s regional conference.
The upcoming regional executive elections are expected to determine the leadership that will oversee the party’s activities and communications structures in the Bono East Region.
