Gomoa West MP Highlights Development Projects At MDCC Peace Festival
The Member of Parliament for Gomoa West Constituency in the Central Region, Richard Gyan-Mensah, has highlighted a number of ongoing and planned development projects in the constituency during the annual Asomdwe Afe (Peace Festival) celebration of the Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC) at Gomoa Mozano.
The MP joined the Gomoa West District Chief Executive (DCE), Alhaji Mohammed Kassim, party faithfuls and members of the church for the annual celebration over the weekend.
Addressing the gathering, the MP outlined government and constituency-level interventions in roads, education, electricity, community water supply, healthcare and livelihood empowerment.
He also provided updates on the construction of a new Junior High School (JHS) block for the Mozano Basic School, as well as upcoming projects at the Mozano Senior High School and the College of Music Senior High School.
According to the MP, the projects formed part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and create a better learning environment for students in the constituency.
As part of his support for the festival, the MP made a cash donation towards the programme and facilitated the installation of 10 solar-powered streetlights and 20 grid-powered streetlights to improve lighting and enhance security in the area.
The MP expressed gratitude to the General Head Prophet of the Musama Disco Christo Church, also known as the Army of the Cross of Christ, Most Prophet Moknajeeba Fiifi Jehu-Appiah, Akaboha IV, and the leadership of the church for their continued spiritual and moral guidance.
He reaffirmed his commitment to working with stakeholders to promote development and improve the wellbeing of residents in Gomoa West.
He said efforts would continue towards driving growth and development across the constituency.
