Energy Minister Engages Bulk Oil Distributors On Sector Reforms
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has met with the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) and its members as part of ongoing stakeholder engagements on reforms in Ghana’s energy sector.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Minister and representatives of the bulk oil distribution industry to discuss the government’s ongoing reforms and exchange views on key issues affecting the sector.
Mr Jinapor speaking after the event said the engagement was productive, with stakeholders presenting their concerns, views and suggestions on the direction of the energy sector.
He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining continuous dialogue with industry players and other stakeholders as government works to build a more efficient, resilient and sustainable energy sector.
According to him, the engagement forms part of his efforts to strengthen collaboration with private-sector stakeholders and ensure that their perspectives are taken into account in the formulation and implementation of energy-sector policies.
