YEA Passes Out First Batch Of Prison Service Assistants After Refresher Training
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, has led the passing-out ceremony for the first batch of YEA Prison Service Assistants who have successfully completed their refresher training.
The training forms part of efforts to prepare the beneficiaries for absorption into the mainstream Ghana Prisons Service after completing their two-year contracts under the Youth Employment Agency(YEA).
The refresher programme was designed to equip the beneficiaries with the requisite skills and competencies as they transition from the YEA programme into permanent career opportunities within the Ghana Prisons Service.
The passing-out ceremony marks an important step in the YEA’s efforts to support beneficiaries beyond temporary employment by creating pathways towards sustainable careers.
The CEO said the transition reflects the agency's commitment to equipping young people with opportunities that can lead to long-term employment and professional development.
