2027 Budget Preparations Gather Pace As Finance Ministry Holds Hearings
Preparations for Ghana’s 2027 Budget Statement and Economic Policy are gathering pace, with the Ministry of Finance holding budget hearings with several Ministries, Departments and Agencies(MDAs).
The hearings were held last week as part of preparations for the presentation of the 2027 Budget to Parliament, which is expected in November.
The Ministry of Finance led by Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has expressed appreciation to the participating ministries and institutions for their contributions to the budget preparation process.
He also thanked the various Ministers of State and their teams for making time to participate in the hearings and for providing valuable inputs toward the preparation of the budget.
The Minister said the engagements form part of efforts to ensure that the 2027 Budget reflects the priorities and programmes of government and responds to the needs of the country.
The 2027 Budget is expected to be presented to Parliament in November 2026.
