NPP National Executives Pay Courtesy Aall On Kufuor, Pledge 2028 Victory
The newly elected National Executives of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by National Chairman John Boadu, have paid a courtesy call on former President John Agyekum Kufuor at his residence to formally introduce themselves and seek his guidance as they begin their mandate.
During the meeting, Mr Boadu, speaking on behalf of the national officers, reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to strengthening party unity, energising the grassroots and mobilising support ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He said the new executives were determined to rebuild the party’s structures and consolidate support across the country to secure a return to government.
The delegation also expressed its ambition to win the 2028 elections with a strong parliamentary majority, stressing the importance of unity and effective grassroots mobilisation in achieving that goal.
The executives drew inspiration from former President Kufuor’s leadership and his longstanding contribution to the NPP, expressing their desire to benefit from his experience and guidance as they steer the party’s affairs.
The courtesy call forms part of efforts by the newly elected leadership to engage key party figures and strengthen internal cohesion as the NPP prepares for the next general elections.
