Jomoro MP Engages Sam George Over Persistent Network Challenges

The Deputy Minister for Transport and Member of Parliament for Jomoro in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey has engaged the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, to address persistent network connectivity challenges in the constituency.

The engagement, held alongside the Municipal Chief Executive for Jomoro, Mr Benedict Boadi, focused on finding solutions to poor network coverage affecting several communities.

The MP said sustained advocacy had already resulted in improved connectivity in communities such as Kabenlasuazo and Bonyere, but noted that several other areas continued to experience network difficulties.

Among the communities identified for urgent intervention are Ellenda, Nuba, Ellonyi, Twenen, Ebonloa, New Kabenlasuazo, Adusuazo, Tweakor 2, Jaway, Mpeasem, Ghana Nungua and Fawoman/Nsuano.

According to the MP, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has given assurances of positive developments by November.

The MP reaffirmed a commitment to working with the Ministry to expand reliable network coverage across Jomoro, stressing that improved connectivity was essential to education, commerce, communication and inclusive development.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to address digital connectivity gaps and ensure that underserved communities in the constituency benefit from improved telecommunications services.
