NPA Announces 2026 Consumer Week Celebration In Kasoa
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced plans to hold its 2026 Consumer Week Celebration on Thursday, November 5, at the Kasoa Ofaakor Park in the Central Region.
The celebration, which is being held under the theme “Safe Downstream, Confident Consumers,” is expected to bring together stakeholders in Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector and members of the public.
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, is expected to attend the event as Guest of Honour.
Other speakers will include the Chief Executive of the NPA, Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, the Municipal Chief Executive for Awutu Senya East, Seth Sabah Serwonoo-Banini; and the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East and NPA board member, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor.
Several other speakers are also expected to participate in the celebration.
The event is intended to provide an opportunity for engagement with consumers and stakeholders on issues relating to safety and confidence in Ghana’s petroleum downstream industry.
The NPA has invited members of the public to participate in the celebration and engage with the Authority and other industry stakeholders.
