Sam George Denies Having Military Bodyguard Amid Reports Of Withdrawal

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has denied reports that the Military High Command has withdrawn a military bodyguard and driver assigned to him.

The Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, reportedly questioned the claims, asking: “Have you seen me with a military bodyguard before?” in an interview with Overseeronline.com

His response follows reports that the Military High Command had withdrawn a military bodyguard and driver allegedly assigned to him.

The reported withdrawal is said to have come days after a disagreement between the Minister and the military over an operation in the Ningo-Prampram area.

However, Mr George's denial raises questions about the claim that he had been assigned a military bodyguard in the first place.
