Education Ministry Partners Finnish Organisation To Strengthen STEM Education In Ghana

The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Finnish education organisation Educraftor to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and promote innovative teaching and learning in Ghana.

The partnership seeks to advance the country's education system through the adoption of international best practices, teacher professional development and the integration of technology-driven approaches into classroom instruction.

Under the agreement, the Ministry and Educraftor will collaborate to equip teachers with modern teaching strategies, introduce interactive digital learning tools and develop curricula that meet international standards while addressing Ghana's educational needs.

The collaboration will also promote student-centred and project-based learning approaches to improve practical learning experiences and encourage active participation in the classroom.

Through these approaches, the partnership aims to equip students with essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and technology, preparing them to respond to emerging challenges in an increasingly technology-driven world.

The agreement forms part of efforts to improve the quality of education in Ghana by strengthening STEM instruction, supporting teachers and creating more innovative learning environments.
